Steve has to be the best nurse I've ever had (and I've had quite a few!). He is attentive, caring, and compassionate and has great interpersonal skills. He showed both respect and a quick response time to me as a patient. He's very empathetic and gives great attention to detail. Steve is also a considerate, thoughtful nurse with strong communication skills.

I came to visit my friend after surgery at Mercy Hospital. Steve was just starting his shift that evening. He was empathetic and went out of his way to comfort us both! I returned around 5:00 am. Even after his long shift, Steve was still being caring and wonderful in every way. He did not show his fatigue and remembered me. He helped me find her room, showed me where coffee and snacks were and all the while wearing a smile. Steve is a wonderful nurse!
