Steve encouraged me to stay calm and try to relax. I love the ocean and let him know that so when I was having a hard time he would say go to the Ocean, breathe slower, you're in good hands. He is an awesome nurse. When my IV came out when I was getting back in bed and he put it back in on the first try. He always has a little sense of humor and would make me laugh. Steve deserves this award because he went above and beyond his "nursing" to keep me informed and always stopped in my room to say "Hi" and ask how I was feeling.
