My husband and I had unbelievable care and constant attention during both of our stays. Aside from the wonderful care that we both received, there is one person who really stands out to both of us for his caring, going about and beyond to make sure we were being taken care of and had everything that we needed. All of the nursing staff was wonderful, but this one gentleman stood out to us just his personality and his knowledge of taking care of a problem we might have had very calmly. He greets you with a smile every time he sees you and always wants to make sure everything is perfect for your stay in the hospital. I can go on and on about him, but his work performance speaks for itself. I am talking about Steven, the head nurse on the 4th Floor. My husband and I would highly recommend him for the DAISY Award. We feel he is a very dedicated part of the staff and makes sure his patients on the floor come first and foremost for their needs and stay at the hospital. He always has a smile on his face, is just a wonderful person, and deserves this award.
