I worked with Steven on an evening shift and it was a stressful day. We were short staffed and there was a lot of blood work to do and the bells kept on ringing. I did a double that day so I was already burnt out, without asking Steven more than once, he jumped in and was willing to help me with my blood work and he even offered to get me coffee. I had one patient who was very difficult and refused to let anyone else do their blood work. Steven was able to get in and reassure the patient that it would not hurt. The patient had been scared because they said everyone was trying, and were not successful and had caused pain. Steven did it and the patient was very happy and praised Steven and said he was the best. I agreed and said he is. It is always a pleasure working with Steven, he has never said no, and demonstrates positivity, and willingness to help.
