Steve is an amazing team player and leader. He is willing to help anyone without hesitation. Tonight, we had a seriously critical patient that we wound up having to intubate and rapidly ship to Main to be admitted to the ICU. Steve never left the patient's bedside from his first coming through the front door to riding in the ambulance to Main to make sure he was stable while transporting. Steve also took the time during treating this patient to call the patient's wife over to explain what was going on and what we had done. He also tried to get the wife to understand how sick the patient was so she would be somewhat prepared. Steve did all of this while bagging the patient the whole time.
