On December 8, MCU had a male patient being discharged but needed shoes to go home: it was cold and snowy. Rehab and Case Management have clothes but not shoes. Steve checked for any other possibilities but found none. So, to support what the patient needed, he gave him the shoes he was wearing. Steve went home without any shoes that day. What an incredible display of care and comfort for the patient – he truly lived the mission and vision of our hospital this day.
