Stevi's nominator was a patient at Fort Sanders Regional who experienced a scary situation after giving birth to her baby. The patient says that Stevi saved her baby's life and that she "truly went above and beyond." Stevi performed life-saving medical care for her patient's baby and compassionate, comforting care for her patient, ensuring the patient was emotionally as well as medically cared for. Her nominator said, "I will never forget what she did for me and my baby girl! You gave my baby life and I hope to carry on every day."
