Stevie is an amazing nurse and a wonderful compassionate woman. My mother who is 86 had to come to DPH ER. This was our first experience, coming to the ER, which led to admission. We were newbies and didn’t know what to expect. My mother was nervous and is usually reluctant to ask for what she needs. Stevie took all that nervousness away and made my mom feel so comfortable. She always has a smile on her face yes even with a mask on! She has a cheerful attitude. She immediately felt like a family member and always seemed eager to help out. In my opinion, Stevie was born to be a nurse. She shows so much compassion and care and demonstrates confidence in her work. She seems to put the patient first and shows kindness and respect to my family. We loved her so much that we are torn about possibly leaving tomorrow, Stevie is off. We want mom to go home but we really like to see Stevie again, when she returns Monday. Stevie is a real treasure! Don’t lose this girl! She is the light on a dark day and the smile when you’re sad. She is the reason that we will definitely come back to DPH.
