June 2023 Honoree
Sudha Sagar, BSN, RN
I came into the ER on a recommendation from urgent care. I was pregnant, and we now know that I was miscarrying. Sudha was my last nurse before discharge. I did not spend much time with her; however, she made a point to introduce herself (I was sleeping when she first came on her shift).
She read my chart and knew I was dealing with some pregnancy emergency. After introducing herself, she held my hand and gave condolence. She was kind and reassuring. The lady and gentleman nurses on the late-night shift who got me settled into my new room were accommodating and gentle as they made me laugh. I was very sad, and it felt nice to smile.
From start to finish, this hospital has exuded kindness, attentiveness, and efficiency as best as they could. I came to the ER alone and afraid; however, all the staff made me feel safe and cared for. I appreciate all the staff and Sudha for such great care. Thanks again, Sudha!
