Each semester the graduating class gives an award to a faculty member that they feel has influenced them and impacted their lives the most throughout their 4 semesters at Mississippi College School of Nursing. The teacher we chose has poured so much into all of us, not just some of our class, but every single one of us. We had this teacher some of our first semester, all of our third semester, and some of us expereienced the country of Colombia with her this past summer on our mission trip. This teacher is such a joy to be around, is so sweet, and just downright funny. I remember so many of her lectures that didn't even feel like lectures because we were always laughing at something she said or something she did to help us learn the material better. That's how awesome she is. I've actually had the privilege of knowing this teacher a few more years than just nursing school as my highschool softball coach, and I don't know where I'd be today were it not for her. She is actually a big reason why I chose to come to this school. On top of this being a great Christian university, I knew that if she was teaching I would be in good hands. So from coaching me on the softball field, to coaching all of us on the nursing floor, I could not be more honored to be presenting this semester's DAISY Faculty Award to none other than Mrs. Sue Bryant.
