Sue Davis is an outstanding LPN in our hospital. I have observed her for years, beginning in the 1980s when I supervised the shift until now. She still displays the same kind, compassionate care and knowledge. In the recent years, she is in charge of our TeleHealth desk that monitors all the home health patients’ vital signs, daily weights, and symptoms of distress if they are having any. Just a few months ago, I heard her talking to a patient with extreme shortness of breath and weight gain. The patient did not to go to the emergency department, so Sue immediately called a nurse to go to the home.

Sue’s voice is very calming to patients, and she is always that person on the other end of the phone who displays the same caring and knowledge she has always had.
