Sue is an experienced Mother/Baby nurse who works the 1900-0730 shift. She is a wonderful mentor for our new staff members. Sue has been recognized for providing outstanding care by 2 of our patients and their families during management rounds over the last couple of weeks.

The first was from a patient and family who loved that she promoted skin to skin contact, performed the baby bath in her room, and had the patient and family participate during this educational opportunity.

The second nomination was from a patient who said she was so happy that Sue was on duty. She was having some difficulty breastfeeding her infant. "She actually got him to latch on. I felt so much better after that."
