We had a patient's father come into the clinic who had passed away requesting records. The patient was very young, and it was a very sad situation. I went to Sue requesting help with this situation, she dropped everything she was doing, made phone calls, and showed unbelievable compassion and understanding for this grieving father. It took us some time to meet this father's requests, so she put him in a vacant room, so he didn't have to wait in the lobby. His son had just passed away and the father needed special respect and attention. This was fully given by myself and Sue. I feel so blessed to work with a nurse that has so much love for our patients.

I am a front desk PAR at the Ocean Beach clinic. I am lucky to be able to work with a caregiver as wonderful as Sue Harris. I always look forward to working with her since she's only at our clinic 3 days a week. She definitely reminds us all of our mission and spreading compassion throughout our community.
