Most compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable nurse I have met. She’s willing to share information about my diagnosis and helpful tips to help me through my disease. She actually talked to both my husband and myself as if we were her family, you could easily tell how much she loves her job. It made my visit to the ER not as frightening, and learning there were ways to cope with it. She truly deserves this award for making patients feel comfortable getting the best care that Elkhart General has to offer. Also, hearing her coworkers talk highly about her efforts to mentor them and help them learn her skills from good advice passed down.
