A patient’s husband was asked to speak as a family member at our North team volunteer meeting. With tear filled eyes he shared abundant praise for the care that Sue provided for his wife and also special TLC for the family. He expressed his appreciation for the comfort he felt under her care along with the support of the entire care team of staff and volunteers. He also shared a tender story regarding Sue to the group.
As fate would find it, he and Sue’s paths crossed years ago and he was reminded during Sue’s first visit to the home. He shared to Sue as a young girl the secret of getting rid of freckles which she remembered vividly. It brought laughter to the group gathered and it was also a very simple reminder of how small the world is and how GOD places special people on life’s journey and to him Sue was and is a very special angel.

When needing help and calling her by phone, she always answered as soon as possible and came to the house as needed other than her regular visits. Both of us were well satisfied with Sue.
