Two nominations:
1. I have worked at this beautiful hospital for 21 years and in that time have experienced many touching, selfless, and caring episodes, given by our staff to patients and public alike. Sue epitomizes the caring giving spirit that is ours at NCH. Several times I have seen her go to department stores and buy clothing to dress homeless patients on their discharge from the hospital. In one instance, 3 weeks ago she bought underwear, shorts, socks, sneakers, jeans, shirts and helped this homeless patient with his discharge. The patient hugged her and cried, Sue cried and all who were present cried. Obviously whether he lived in a mansion or had nowhere to live made no difference to Sue.
2. Helpful, caring, great attitude. I think she is an extraordinary nurse!
