Sueann was beyond kind to me in washing, combing and braiding the rat's nest my long hair had become in the ICU following a brain stroke/bleed in the cerebral cortex. I was confused, emotional, uncoordinated and inept at the huge job of it and Sueann took me in hand and put me at ease with laughter, kind words and supportive measures. She is of a similar age and we found that we have much in common. I went on to learn that she goes above and beyond in every aspect of her job and with all her patients including me. Never taking shortcuts, treating everyone with respect, finding humor in even the direst of situations. She is a true treasure as a person and as a nurse.
