Suhad is a dedicated nurse leader and is engaged with her team. She extends her leadership skills to volunteer activities by working collaboratively with others.
Suhad is a nurse manager of the Adult Outpatient Medical Clinics. Her passion for all the patients and families that come through her clinics is marvelous. She is always available on the floors to help patients, support her staff, and provide continuous support to other team members. She managed to keep all her duties and responsibilities completed as well. Suhad is a dedicated nurse leader and is engaged with her team. She extends her leadership skills to volunteer activities by working collaboratively with others. Recently, she participated in many outreach activities such as the “Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign” in the Jordanian Women Union.
One nurse wrote on the DAISY nomination form, “When I was assigned as a clinical nurse coordinator for the Sarcoma Clinic, my nurse manager, Suhad, stood by my side and helped me in the new role. She gave me the necessary guidance to run the clinic safely and effectively during the orientation period. Her successful mentorship strategies positively impacted my daily work, leading to better patient results. In addition, Suhad encouraged nurse autonomy and professional development opportunities. From another hand, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she played a vital role in solving all raised issues and challenges at the ambulatory outpatient services by expressing courage, resilience, and exceptional caring. My sister was newly diagnosed with breast cancer. Throughout all the difficult times we have been through, Suhad has always stood by my family and me, giving my sister full support with respect to overcoming all obstacles. She sat beside my sister, alleviated her stress, and answered her concerns. We are lucky to have human beings like Suhad in our facility and are honored to work with such a great nurse leader”.
