February 2014 Honoree
suja shaji, RN
Shaji received three nominations. The first nomination is from a patient who wrote, "Suja is one of the most compassionate, experienced and generous people I have ever met. Her years of experience are obvious at once, but she also took the time to talk about her family, culture and international experiences as a nurse, wife and mother. I could listen to this beautiful woman talk for hours. Although I suspect she has been recognized many times in the past, she would humbly deny that. I would like to recognize her for her excellence."
The second nomination was from a patient's child who wrote, "Suja went out of her way to orient me to the unit. She was always very patient! She had great assessment skills and solved a minor incident with my mother in a calm and caring manner. She was always teaching."
The last nomination was from a patient who wrote, "Suja took a lot of time explaining things. She is very calm and caring. She took great care of me and explained everything well!"
