I was admitted into the hospital after experiencing shortness of breath due to Covid. I am a 44-year-old healthy woman so the severity of the disease I experienced was unexpected and scary. I am the director of El Dorado County Public Health Department and an Epidemiologist, so I know how inundated the health care system has become. I was reluctant to come to the hospital because I didn't want to take a bed that was needed by someone with underlying health conditions, but it got to the point I couldn't avoid it.

Sukhi was calm, intuitive, knowledgeable, and a joy to be around. In fact, everyone I was exposed to from the Doctors to the food and janitorial staff was outstanding, you all are putting yourself at risk on my behalf and I am so grateful. I am very impressed by the Kaiser Health Care System and Sukhi made my stay as enjoyable as possible. You are all heroes in my eyes, and I wish you the best during this pandemic.
