I was admitted for observation due to extreme abdominal pain. The physicians could not discover the cause for my pain, but they kept me for 1.5 days to try and get the pain managed. I had 2 of the most amazing nurses during my stay. These professional caretakers did everything they could to make me comfortable and try to ease my pain. They advocated to the on-call doctor on my behalf for pain management. They answered all my fears and questions with clear and concise understanding. They took the time to notice unspoken wants and offered things like earplugs, a blindfold, and hot tea even before I asked. These nurses deserve to be recognized for their unwavering dedication to compassionate care. I am truly grateful that I had them on my care team.
