When I think of dignity, respect for the patient and compassionate care, I think of this fine nurse. I was very impressed by Sukhwinder Singh's assessments and sincere way of asking my mother-in-law about her symptoms. His quick response to my mother-in-law's rapid change in vital signs was also admirable. He called a rapid response and many team members and machines came fast.
Sukhwinder is the most empathetic and caring nurse. He sat down at her level to speak with her, and most efficiently summoned the physician and my mothers-in-law's wishes were effectively communicated so she would not have to be frightened. I would also like to recognize my thanks for Sukhwinder for his kindness to me. He supplied me with blankets and encouraged me to rest. He spoke to me with respect. He has a warm quiet manner and strong regard for his patients.
