I would like to give my deepest thanks and appreciation to Ms. Sultanha Alharbi. I went to the ER and I was still in severe pain after I passed the triage station, she looked at me and helped me, and assessed my pain. She checked my vital signs and reassured me. She called the doctor as he ordered for laboratory investigation, ultrasound, and pain killers. Then she carried out the doctor's order and started to give me an analgesic to relieve my pain. Then she carried out all the remaining doctor's orders in a professional manner and with all infection control measures. She took me to the X-ray department for an ultrasound. At this time I felt that I was cared for as a part of her family. All my pain and anxiety were relieved. That day I came to ER alone but when Ms. Sultanha cared for me I felt that I was not alone. I felt safe and secure. I trusted her regarding her attitude, behavior, and her professionalism. Sultana deals with patients with compassionate care, is respectful, and is also a good communicator. She cares for patients as if they are family.
