Sunshine Ewing, LPN

Oh, what can I say about Sunshine? There are not enough kinds words to say about her. Being in the hospital is hard enough as it is, but she made my stay there as enjoyable as could be. She talked to me like a real human being and not just a number. I cried in front of her, and she was so warm. She also made me laugh which is hard to do when you feel so down and out. I felt embarrassed for being there and needing help to the bathroom, etc., but not one time did she make me feel anything less than a true human who deserves the best this world has to offer. Even though we all go through hard times, life gets better and this too shall pass. I can't explain how comfortable she made me feel; and answered all my questions about meds etc. She really went out of her way during my stay, and I surely will miss her warm, welcoming, beautiful smile and why her name is Sunshine; because she radiates it every chance she gets, and I will truly miss her.
