I learned my partner had cancer. I went from taking care of patients to caring for my own family. It was so scary we didn't know what was coming at us. At the end of December, we were offered a chance to enroll my partner in a trial study, there were so many questions. Sunshine came to us and answered every question and some of them I'm sure twice. She went over what to expect and all the side effects, she even answered questions late into the evening. On chemo days she sends text messages to remind us of the times of each of the appointments of that day.
