We were told to come to Sanford Emergency Room at 4:30 on Thursday and my husband was admitted to Sanford. He ended up having Dr. Nichols remove all his toes on his right foot! We were not expecting this to happen, but it was due to his diabetes. While having another crying moment, I came upon a DAISY Foundation brochure to thank the people who helped us accept what we had to do and move forward.
I have no idea how one person could be singled out as we had awesome care from these employees the whole team, especially our hero, Dr. Adam Nichols. These special people were just doing their job, but they did more. They truly cared and we appreciated it.
