Sue is one that for quite some time has been a role model to others - she does a great job educating patients and their families as demonstrated by this nomination!
This is not the first time she has been recognized for her empathy or in making a special connection with her patients.
"Recently, I was treated with extraordinary care by this wonderful DAISY Nurse. I was in immense pain following gastric sleeve surgery. She treated me like I was her only patient on her shift. She was so professional, kind and empathetic to my feelings and needs. Believe me when I tell you it was the longest night of my life. I'm so glad Sue was with me."
