I had to bring my wife to the hospital, and she is terrified of hospitals and anything involving test or needles. I feel that if it hadn't been for people and staff like Susan, my wife would not have been able to deal with her health issues. Susan was very understanding, kind, and very patient with my wife. She was always smiling, helpful, and cheerful. UT Medical Center is very blessed in having nurses like her.

I have had family members here at UT Hospital for years. We have always been blessed with good help, but this time when my dad was admitted we have had exceptional care from your RN on nightshift, Susan. She is awesome, loving, and caring to all her patients. The way Susan would talk to us was comforting, and I was not as worried. She makes you feel as if she is part of your family. She checks on her patients often during her shift, and that allows family to get some rest. My dad has dementia and other health problems, and Susan cared for him as he was her dad. Even when he was difficult two nights in a row, she was still so loving and caring.

Susan is really good. She does a great job caring for patients and their individual needs. Her level of experience and knowledge about treatments is very comforting. She took the time to explain everything and was very helpful. The team is amazing and has been very well put together.
