Susan Delbelso, LPN

Over the course of a 4-day stay on B3, Susan provided exceptional care for my mother, a 91-year-old woman with five broken ribs resulting from a fall, and severe dementia. She was responsive, engaged, gentle, and caring. On numerous occasions, she helped my mother get from the bed to the bathroom respectfully, honoring her modesty and making her comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. My mother, a former hospital executive who is keenly aware of patient care despite her severely compromised cognitive abilities, clearly recognized and repeatedly noted the exceptional care she received from Susan during her stay at Albany Med. Susan helped improve the experience of my mother and her family members, who were with her around the clock. We are grateful to her and to all caregivers on B3 who helped us through this hard time.
