Susan consistently demonstrates compassion, empathy, and caring to patients and staff. She is a long-standing committed nurse at ZHH since 1987. In her role as the primary Patient Advocate at Zucker Hillside Hospital, she has the daily responsibility of all 230 patients throughout the hospital. She liaisons with staff about patient needs and continually speaks with individual patients and families about their wishes. She chairs many hospital wide committees and attends all pertinent seminars/webinars. Her approach is caring, sincere, invested in the patients. Susan is the well-known go-to person for all needs and relevant information, both inpatient and post-discharge. A perfect example of a DAISY Nurse!
