Susan was tending to other patients as the other nurses did, but there was a special passion with her. She was so attentive with our dad and to our family.
My father was at the hospital for an extended amount of time. Susan showed so much concern and compassion in her work, for me, it stood out above and beyond the other nurses. I was very appreciative of her individualized concern for our father in his last days of life. She was tending to other patients as the other nurses did, but there was a special passion with her. She was so attentive with our dad and to our family. When she said she would be leaving at the end of her shift my dad wanted to leave with her because he saw the care she had just as I did. It was special. I even accidentally told her I loved her when I left for the day. Compassion, care, and concern go a long way with people. Even though my father has passed away I thank you from the bottom of my heart and his heart too. You are the heroes that they have been talking about.
