Susan Fox always treats patients as she would want to be treated, with the utmost professionalism. Susan is capable of multi-tasking and on occasion has been night shift charge nurse, triage nurse, along with taking care of patients. If there is a critical patient that comes in at the end of the shift, Susan without hesitation and without watching the clock, takes care of the patient and then when the patient is stable she turns care over to the oncoming nurse. Susan is caring and compassionate ED nurse, who truly bonds with the patient and family.

There was one instance, where a patient did not have a good outcome; Susan was in the room with the family for the duration, made sure they received every bit of information they needed and even stayed to comfort them. They were so thankful to her for attending to their family member in the manner that she did. When Susan left the family, she filled up with some tears and that represents the true meaning of caring for your patients.
