Sue possesses all the qualities of a DAISY Nurse. Have worked with Sue for the past five years. She continues to demonstrate high-quality care, mentorship, critical thinking, and compassion to the patients and staff. Sue is a hidden gem, an Extraordinary Nurse. Any hour of the night, you can hear Sue joking, laughing with a patient, even with the most challenging patients. Sue is extremely valuable to our unit. Sue is one of the hardest workers I have ever met. She even brings us gifts (before COVID), "Carrots", as she calls them. When you see a bag of cheese curls at the beginning of your shift, you know Sue is on and is a great resource for all.
