I had a heart attack and needless to say I was petrified. When I got to the ICU, not knowing what to expect next, Susan Smith, RN explained everything that was going on. She made sure I was as comfortable as I could be. Every time I asked Ms. Smith for assistance, she was overly nice and accommodating. She made me feel like I was not a bother, even though I was convinced I was. Ms. Smith was down to earth, calmed me down, and made me feel at ease. Not everyone is as easygoing as this wonderful lady. It's not that she did one thing that stood out, it's just that everything she did made me realize I was receiving the best care and felt like she actually cared. She was just an all-around good person. I have to say, all of the Nurses I had during my stay were outstanding, but Susan Smith rose above them all. I am extremely thankful to her for her hard work and dedication.
