Our mom was in a horrible accident, which could’ve been worse. After a rough experience with the ER, Susan K was ready to help and give her all for our mother and big family. Susan is such a wonderful blessing to many. She is the definition of a kind loving nurse who simply cares and provides the best of the best. She took the time to talk through procedures, paperwork, doctor's instructions, and what the next steps were. She spoke with softness and authority. She sat down with our mother and shared moments of being a human, and showed she wasn’t here just for the paycheck. She showed love while always staying focused on her work. She was ready to jump to the needs of her patients and willing to provide extensive care/assistance. She tended to my mother way better than we could have expected. This experience was tough, but Susan made a light shine from it all. When we needed someone, Susan stepped up and cared for us as human beings with so much compassion and empathy. Our mother looked forward to seeing her each time. When it was time to say goodbye, hugs and tear-filled eyes went all around the room. We will never forget those beautiful red glasses and that contagious laugh of hers. Thank you for giving your undivided attention to our mother, who is forever grateful for you.
