Professor Lindner has to be one of the best teachers in the world. She is truly driven to help her students, and goes to great lengths to figure out what each one of us individually needs. She demands a lot because she wants us to be the best nurses we could possibly be. She goes above and beyond the call of duty for teachers as she spends extra time helping her students, constantly asks questions that encourage us to come up with the answers ourselves instead of just telling us what they are, encourages clear, respectful, functional communication between students and hospital staff/instructors, provides us with resources for continued learning in the community, advocates for students to get every possible learning opportunity during clinical, and so much more. She makes every second of clinical count. What's more, her energy is contagious. It seems she has excited every single person in my clinical group about being great nurses, and I think she's even inspired some of the nurses on our assigned units. It is more than just a solid, tested knowledge base that makes a nurse great. Professor Lindner encourages us to keep learning all the time, be passionate about our patients' health, always be proactive, and to take care of ourselves as well. She has been very compassionate towards all of her students, making sure we're doing okay and teaching about strategies to manage stress. Professor Lindner always seems to have bits of encouragement for her students, and everyone she encounters. That being said, she is constantly reviewing content and asking us "why?" She takes our success and progression towards being safe, passionate, caring nurses personally. Professor Lindner's passion for teaching and her incredible support has really moved me. I am sure she deserves recognition for her noble, compassionate, and tireless work to be a superb teacher and role-model.
