Susan demonstrates exemplary qualities not only as a Nurse Manager, but also as a skilled clinician. One only has to look at the NICU and the Nursing staff to see what an outstanding role model she is.

Through her mamangement she makes an extra ordindary, enormous difference in the lives of many people. Her expectations are translated into the wonderful caring treatment her nurses provide to the most vulnerable population. Many people can shine on one day, but Sue manages it every day despite the obstacles posed by a highly specialized unit, managing a large staff, and meeting the needs of the patients and the families.
