Susan Marino, RN

Upon being admitted as a patient to our emergency department, I was assigned to Susan Marino, a recently employed registered nurse with decades of experience and an excellent demeanor. Susan visibly loves her job, managing to combine clinical expertise with compassion, patience, and a sense of humor. I had two of my young children with me. Susan went above and beyond to orient them to the equipment in the room, let them listen with her stethoscope, involved them in care and even came back to check on me and bring the girls cards, crayons, and a balloon animal gloves even after she had been repositioned in another area of the ED. Her knowledge, passion, reliability, and approach embody the art of caring. Thank you, Susan!
