Susan came on duty the day I was supposed to be discharged. During this hospitalization I learned my lungs would not support me walking again. She found a wheel chair (I had not left my room in a week) and took me on a tour of the hospital. She talked and walked me which I needed so badly. I came back to my room so grateful as she is the first person who took the time to make me feel like more than my symptoms. She made me feel like a person. I am deeply grateful that she was my nurse. I have had overall excellent care, but this was something that made me feel good and put a smile on my face.
Susan McCarrie is an excellent nurse and I consider myself lucky to have been under her care. She is one of a kind. Thank you!
