Sue is and has been a big part of this hospital's burn unit. She is a veteran Burn nurse, working here at HCMC for 34 years. Sue has done outreach, teaching and has been a valued leader for the burn unit. Currently, she works on our Burn Clinic. Sue goes above and beyond for not just the clinic but the inpatient unit as well. She comes and helps with admissions, wound care, and stocking when she has downtime in the clinic. She is eager to help educate newer staff. She is a true advocate for her patients. Not only is she a resource for staff, but also a resource for management with her vast amount of knowledge in Burn care. There is no doubt in my mind, Sue is a DAISY Nurse. Thank you Sue for the great care you continue to give every day.

Sue is an amazing nurse. She has worked at Hennepin for many, many years. She has been in the Burn Unit, roster, and now the Burn Clinic. She is extremely knowledgeable. She comes into the Burn Unit and helps us out when she has downtime in the clinic. She has come in on her days off to help out. She is amazing. She is a true leader. She is a nurse that I look up to. One that I want to be someday.
