Susan Mendenall, RN

Our unit had a dying patient request last rights from a catholic priest. No one could be reached through the on-call chaplain. Susan took it upon herself to call local churches. She found a local catholic priest willing to come to provide the service. We are a very busy unit so the fact that Susan felt compelled to take the time to do this for a patient just shows a small glimpse of the constant compassion and care she shows on a daily basis for our fellow staff and patients in our care.
