Susan Page, RN was nominated by a fellow employee for demonstrating outstanding clinical nursing knowledge and leadership. Susan works in Ambulatory Clinics providing comprehensive nursing care services as well as being the Charge RN. The nomination reads:
“This nomination to Susan Page for the DAISY Award, is in recognition of her loyalty, compassion and support to the nursing staff at WIHCC. As the supervisor and team leader in the clinics, Susan places strong emphasis on patient care while being attentive to the needs and well-being of the staff.
Susan is cooperative, knowledgeable, kind in manner and is a delight to work with. She willingly extends assistance to all the clinical areas in order for patient care to be handled correctly. She is also instrumental in the training of new staff members. For Susan, it is the patients who come first.”
