Susan was recognized by a TCSC volunteer and cancer survivor, who said, "Susan helped me when I had questions about my cancer treatment and even took the time to explain to me the decisions my care team suggested for me during my treatment". Susan also volunteers her time at cancer awareness events and she is a presenter at various cancer support groups. Her nominator added, "I have pretty pink memories of our commitment to a great cause!"
