My mother was admitted to the ER for a broken femur. My mother also has severe COPD. Last night, I spoke briefly with the nurse taking over my mom's care for the night shift. I told Sue how concerned I was and she was so sweet she gave me a hug and told me she would take care of mom as if she were her own mother. I felt so much better. Today when I got to mom's room after her surgery, mom informed me that Sue was very good and had sat with her almost all night. We were so happy to hear that. Thank you, Sue, from our family. That is above and beyond as far as I'm concerned.
