Susan Turner, RN was assigned as my wife's nurse. After returning from a CT scan, my wife experienced an anaphylactic reaction to the IVP dye. After alerting Susan to the reaction, she quickly alerted an entire team of nurses, doctors, and respiratory therapy techs. Susan activated the necessary response needed to reverse the allergic reaction rapidly before a respiratory compromise occurred. She demonstrated the true values of Nursing with care and compassion being an excellent patient advocate for all her patients. I feel that she deserves the DAISY Award for her diligent care which quickly reversed a life-threatening condition with her calm demeanor. She is truly a blessing to the Nursing establishment, her patients, and Piedmont Newnan Hospital!
