Susan has gone above and beyond her job for us. On my daughter's birthday, we wanted to go to the Georgia Aquarium but was concerned with leaving our family member due to procedures that were scheduled that day. Susan was scheduled off that day which almost made us change our plans, but she was able to pick up that shift which made us feel much more comfortable leaving him in her hands. She has texted us from her own personal phone giving us updates when we were out to lunch or dinner. She gave me some good recommendations of where I should go for the discomfort in my shoulder. She cares for him but also cares about us as family members. She is beyond kind, knowledgeable, understanding and easy to work with and learn from. I am more than comfortable and confident when Susan is his nurse. She is an outstanding asset to the Shepherd team!
