Susan White, RN, CCRN

Susie is usually in the ICU, but she was helping out on the floor where my room was. It's difficult to describe the subtle but obvious differences between an ICU nurse and the usual floor nurses. During the three days I was there, I was very happy with all of my nurses, CNAs, and the various support staff who do everything else, but Susie stood out.

Susie's professionalism was evident in every move she made, including how she talked to me and explained things. From the minute she came into my room, I felt like I was getting the best possible care. As I said, describing the difference between levels of ability can be difficult when everyone is doing a good job, but she's special. Susie brought her sunny personality; it's hard to ask for more.
