Susan was recognized by a patient who had recently experienced the loss of a family member. Susan shared a personal story with the patient and her mother that offered them hope and even gave them a remembrance bracelet right off her own wrist as a token of support. The patient noted that Susan went above and beyond by treating her like a family member during her stay at Fort Sanders Regional.
