Being on peritoneal dialysis and managing end-stage renal disease is very challenging. However, Susanna has made this experience joyful and filled with possibility. She grounds us in difficult times, keeps us on track with care, and provides above-and-beyond care time and time again. I am alive because of her interventions, and she is an unsung hero. She represents the best of healthcare, and it is an honor to know her.
