Susanna was nominated by a new mother who was going through labor of her first baby. She listened to the patient’s needs, remained calm and collected, and continued checking on the patient even after she was no longer under Susanna’s care. “Susanna did so wonderfully during this time,” the DAISY Nominator said. “We are very impressed with Susanna. She is an example of how every nurse should be.”
